The Red Bull TenStep was developed in Bozeman (MT) and conceptualized by Chris Murphy of Jux Skateboarding. Chris had a dream of creating a portable tenstair handrail that could be used for grassroots contests and be a platform for young skaters that were not on the professional radar yet. He enlisted the efforts of a local welder (and fellow skateboarder) in the summer of 2007, and the Red Bull TenStep was born.
